What is Ford's BLIS?

The design of most cars is very driver friendly, but there remains part of the design that is challenging. Every car designed has a blind spot. Backing in reverse can be awkward. Ford has created a driver's helper that is being installed in newer cars.

The BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) will let you know if there is a vehicle within ten feet of your bumper by turning on a warning light on the side mirror closest to where the vehicle is located.

The Cross Traffic Alert system will go into effect when you put your car into reverse. Sensors are activated to let you know if there are cars or trucks beside or behind you. It can detect vehicles up to 45 feet away.

Ford is constantly striving to make your travel experience safer for you and your passengers. Candy Ford is ready to show you the latest Ford has to offer.
