All-Wheel Drive or Four-Wheel Drive: Are you towing?

There are many models of all-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive vehicles that are on the market today. You may be wondering which one is right for you. There really is no easy answer. It all comes down to a few factors. Factors such as what you will be using the vehicle for? Are you worried about fuel economy? Will you be towing heavy loads with the vehicle? And other such factors should be taken into consideration before purchasing one of these vehicles.

While four-wheel drive vehicles have been the 'go to' vehicle when it comes to towing that does not mean that an all-wheel drive vehicle cannot tow it just means that four-wheel drive vehicles come equipped with a certain gear, often called four-low, that allows for more torque at lower speeds. If you were interested in more information, please and are in the Charlotte area then feel free to contact of us at Candy Ford, and we can explain further the differences between the two types of vehicles.
