MotorWeek Critiques the Incredible 2017 Ford Explorer

Might you be in the market for a full-size SUV? Well, if so, we here at Candy Ford would be downright delighted to introduce you to ours, the 2017 Explorer.

Will it be a match made in vehicular heaven?

Figure that out for yourself by watching the clip below. Here now with more on all things Explorer are the fine folks at MotorWeek:

Though every Explorer engine has its appeal, we feel that the mid-level iteration -- a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder -- may well be the best of the bunch.

Optional on the Base and XLT models, this turbo-four makes a muscular 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is front-wheel drive. An all-wheel-drive platform, meanwhile, is available as an option.

It's worth noting that this four-cylinder is the Explorer's most economical offering, too. When had with front-wheel drive, for instance, it'll achieve 22 mpg combined (19 city/28 highway).

If you'd like to learn more about this capable crossover, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Charlotte, MI dealership. Our automotive aficionados are ready to answer your every question about the Explorer, or any other Ford model within the present portfolio.
